Harmony Script

This is an utility script for Merging color pots that are close in RGB values.
The script meant to consolidate color palette after importing *.ai file created with auto-tracing in Adobe Illustrator.
Any gradient and color pots with transparency will be ignored. The script is compatible with Harmony Premium 15 and up.

• v1.01 – “drawing.elementMode” attribute is changed to “drawing.ELEMENT_MODE” to accomodate Harmony 22 update.

Download

Installation:

1. Click on the Download button above. The GitHub page for this script will open.
2. On the page, click on the Code button then choose Download Zip from the menu.
3. Locate to your user scripts folder (a hidden folder).
4. There is a folder named src inside the zip file. Copy all its contents directly to the folder above.
5. In Harmony, add PAL_Merge_Similar_Colors function to any toolbar.

Direction:

1. In Colour view, select a palette in which has colors you want to merge similar color pots together.
2. Run PAL_Merge_Similar_Colors.
3. On the dialog, Set maximum difference of RGB values between 1 and 255. This value will be used as a tolerance for merging color pots.
