This is a sculpted human skull with muscles. I made this sculpture back in 2006 as a part of my portfolio when I applied for my undergrad.
Process
I crafted its wireframe first and then wrapped the frame with color-added clay. I finally brushed varnish on top to achieve the wet look of eyeballs and mouth.
